L Murugan appointed BJP state president in Tamil Nadu – Times of India

CHENNAI: Vice-chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) L Murugan has been appointed as BJP state president in Tamil Nadu.
The post had been lying vacant since September 1 after the then president, Tamilisai Soundararajan, was appointed as the governor of Telangana.
Before he was posted as the NCSC vice-chairman, Murugan had been practising as an advocate in the Madras high court. As vice-chairman of the NCSC, he was hearing the Panchami land case involving DMK mouthpiece Murasoli.
