CHENNAI: IIT-Madras in collaboration with Great Learning has launched an advanced certificate programme in software engineering for cloud, blockchain & IOT.
The nine-month-long online programme provides a robust blend of education imparted by leading faculty from IIT-Madras (India’s top ranked institution), Great Learning and expert industry practitioners.
This programme is designed for upskilling of technology professionals and aims at bridging the talent shortage in emerging digital skills faced by the IT industry.
This programme aims at helping learners develop the required skills for roles like software development engineers, software/technical architects, solution architects, cloud engineers and others.
Dr Janakiraman, professor, department of computer science and engineering, IIT-Madras, said, “As the world increasingly adopts frontier technologies such as IoT, cloud computing and blockchain, it is important for our software engineers and software professionals to master these technologies, so we can retain our edge in a software-dominated world.”
