Covid-19: Singer S P Balasubrahmanyam being monitored in Chennai hospital’s high dependency unit, but his – Times of India

CHENNAI: Playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, who was admitted to MGM Healthcare in Chennai with mild Covid-19 symptoms on August 5, continues to be stable and is maintaining normal oxygen saturation.
“He is being monitored by the expert team of clinicians in our high dependency unit (HDU),” said a bulletin issued by MGM Healthcare director Dr Prashanth Rajagopalan.
The singer had himself posted a video message on his social media (Facebook page) confirming that he had tested positive for Covid-19 after showing mild symptoms.
He said although doctors advised him home isolation, he decided to get himself admitted to hospital as he was concerned about the health of his family members.
