CHENNAI: Brillio, a digital native consulting and technology services company, set up a delivery facility in Chennai. This is Brillio’s fifth office in India and with this new office, the company aims to accelerate its Work From Anywhere (WFx) Model.

The company said some of their customers were based in Chennai, and this office would bring them closer to those customers. Expanding into cities outside Bangalore in India was part of the company’s plan in 2020, the management said. Last year, Brillio set up a new office in Pune and Hyderabad.

“We also see a lot of potential and strong talent in financial services, telecom, retail, and consumer packaged group (CPG) sectors in Chennai – our core focus sectors. We also won a large deal from an existing client that will require a very large team and hence this expansion has been planned in lieu of the requirements,” said Aftab Ullah, Chief Operating & Delivery Officer at Brillio.

Brillio has four key focus areas – mobile technology, the cloud, AI, and IoT. The company also acquired an India-based advanced analytics solutions provider called the Marketelligent to help ramp up its data and analytics capabilities for consumer-focused industries.

“We have had the best quarters (H1 2020) since inception. We have seen 30-35% growth in our first two quarters both top line and bottom line. We expanded our AI analytics capabilities with the recent acquisition of Cognetik which helps us expand into newer verticals like retail and CPG as well as provides access to new talent pools in Romania in Europe,” said Aftab.

With the acquisition of Cognetik, a data and insights company the company welcomed industry veterans, Robert E Sells and Alan M Wexler to the Board of Directors to drive strategic growth and continue to hire in India and globally.

He said the company has not revised its growth targets owing to the pandemic and that on the contrary, there were a couple of teams, where the targets have been revised upwards. He said that post Covid-19, a hybrid operating model will be the future of work.

“Our Work from Anywhere (WFx) framework allows employees to use the right technology infrastructure to enhance productivity. We have invested in tools that can help extend and enable collaboration and innovation focused conversations. For example, we have tools such as – digital whiteboards, artefacts sharing, virtual collaboration, agile-life cycle collaboration, and so on,” he said.
