Covid-19 in Chennai: These two zones have more than 1,000 active cases – Times of India

CHENNAI: Two zones in the Greater Chennai Corporation limits have more than 1,000 active Covid-19 cases.
Anna Nagar has the highest active cases at 1,051 while Teynampet has 1,011 cases.
Chennai’s active case count is currently at 8,991. Just a few weeks ago, the city had less than 1,000 active cases.
Test positivity rate on Monday crossed the 10% mark. Chennai’s Covid-19 TPR stood at 10.27%. It was around 3% 12 days ago.
