Tamil Nadu govt appoints nine AAGs, government pleader to Madras high court – Times of India

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday appointed nine additional advocates general to the Madras high court to represent the state.
Through a government order issued by the public (law officers) department, the state has appointed senior advocates Haja Nazirudeen, S Silambanan, Veera Kathiravan and advocates R Ramanlaal, V Arun, R Baskaran, P Kumaresan, R Neelakandan, J Ravindran as additional advocates general to the high court.
This apart, the state has also appointed advocate P Muthukumar as the state government pleader to the high court.
