CHENNAI: Three people were arrested for selling ganja on the lakebed at Pattabiram near Avadi.
The cops, who went to check the status of the lake bund, discovered the trio roaming suspiciously with a bag peddling ganja.
The trio was identified as Nagarathinam, 27, of Lalithkumar, 19, of and Prakash, 24, of Kamarajapuram in Avadi. Police seized five kilograms of ganja from the trip and sent them to jail after producing before a magistrate court in the city.
