Chennai’s Covid orphans get a Christmas to remember – Times of India

Chennai News
CHENNAI: Earlier this month, Phoenix MarketCity in Chennai gave 25 children who have been orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic, a Christmas they would remember, after a year of immense adversity.
As part of the season celebrations, the children, aged between seven and 15 years, from Integrated Rural Community Development Society (IRCDS), played, ate and met with Santa Claus.
The day started with a joyride at the game zone, followed by a small snack break to rejuvenate, followed by a movie and a sumptuous Christmas lunch.

After soldiering through severe poverty and loss, the kids saw a small glimmer of joy, one we hope will grow in the months to come.
