MADURAI: The Madras high court on Monday granted bail to a man arrested in Virudhunagar district for cheating another man by giving him counterfeit currency notes.
Justice K Murali Shankar granted bail to Saravanan who was arrested by the Thiruthangal police on January 14.
The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused borrowed Rs 3 lakh from a man. Thereafter, the accused had cheated the man by giving counterfeit currency notes.
