The Government Railway Police, Korukkupet, have arrested three college students for hurling stones at a moving train and injuring a commuter. The arrested have been identified as M. Raj of Nalloor in Andhra Pradesh, S. Vignesh and S. Ajith of Gummidipoondi. 

The police said that Vijay, a resident of Arakkonam, bought spare parts from the city and was returning home in a train on Monday evening. As the compartment was crowded, he was sitting near the door. When the train reached Vyasarpadi station, a group of college students got into a fight and started throwing stones at the train. Mr. Vijay was injured in the jaw one of the stones hit him. Based on his complaint, a case was filed. 

All the three college students were produced before a judicial magistrate and sent to prison.
