The skywalk is 600m long and about 4 m wide and would snake through Madley Road subway and the M ambalam station road. It will also be completely lit and steps will be taken to ensure the skywalk is not taken over by hawkers, officials said.
Pending dues from contracto rs, pandemic and various other design interventions led to the delay in the project, officials said.

We have inspected the place several times and have asked them to speed up the project. There were some labour issues, but they have been resolved now,” he said.
