Chennai, Tamil Nadu News Highlights: In the appointment of judges, there should be representation of all sections of the people, Chief Minister M K Stalin said here on Sunday and pitched again for a bench of the Supreme Court in Chennai.

The Chennai police Sunday arrested a man in connection with the murder case of a 68-year-old industrialist and film financier, Bhaskaran, a day after his body was found in a plastic bag, said a report. According to news agency ANI, Thiruvallur Sholavaram police officials identified the arrested man as Ganesan. Bhaskaran was reported missing by his son at the Adambakkam police station on Friday.

In other news, the Madras High Court has restrained the Enforcement Directorate (ED) from proceeding further against Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister V Senthil Balaji and two others in connection with an alleged job recruitment scam. A division bench of Justices T Raja and K Kumaresh Babu granted the relief while passing final orders on the writ petitions from B Shanmugam, R V Ashok Kumar and Senthil Balaji on Thursday.
