Suriya and Disha Patani are currently shooting for Siruthai Siva’s film in Chennai.

By Latha Srinivasan: Suriya’s 42nd film, directed by Siruthai Siva, is progressing at a brisk pace, say sources. Bollywood actress Disha Patani completed a schedule with Suriya in Goa in September and now she is in Chennai shooting at Ennore for the film. This schedule is expected to last for a month and the team will travel across Tamil Nadu for the remaining portions of the film.

Since Suriya’s film with director Bala has been dropped, this movie will be completed much faster than expected.

Fans have been excited about Suriya 42, his ongoing film with Siruthai Siva. The film is expected to be high on action and feature a hot romantic track as well. A member from Disha Patani’s’ team took to her Instagram page to share a photo of them in Chennai. Disha and Suriya’s fans have been going gaga over this.

Where are they headed to next? Well, we’ll know when the Ennore schedule is wrapped in a few days.

Sources say this movie will see Suriya playing a dual role – one in the present day and one in an earlier time period similar to superhit films like Bimbisara or Magadheera.

Suriya had shared the motion poster of the film on September 9 when they began shooting. The fantasy action adventure is tipped to be released in 3D. Will Disha Patani be a princess in the film? We need to wait and watch.

In a statement, Disha said, “I am super kicked to announce my next with Suriya sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that has got all the larger-than-life elements for the audience to experience on the big screen. Moreover, the character that I am playing is also quite unique and I am also excited to bring my never-seen-before avatar to the audience (sic).”

Mahat Raghavendra, Yogi Babu, Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anand Raj are part of the cast. Vetri is the cinematographer and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.
