Mobile health clinic launched in Chennai – Times of India

CHENNAI: The Rotary Club of Madras and Greater Chennai Corporation launched a mobile health clinic on December 23 at the Ripon Building.
The clinic was inaugurated in the presence of Shankar Lal Kumawat, Joint Commissioner (Health), Gagandeep Singh Bedi, principal secretary/commissioner, R. Priya, mayor, and Rtn. Jayshree Sridhar, president of the Rotary Club of Madras.
The bus is fitted with a dental chair and X-RAY, and other equipment to treat school children. The van will go to all the corporation schools in Chennai city and children will be given dental screening and treatment. It aims to cover 281 schools spread across the city and cater to approximately 99,000 school children.
