CHENNAI: Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has extended metro train service hours on January 13, 14 and 18 to facilitate movement of passengers heading out and entering the city during Pongal holidays.
On January 13 and 14, peak hour metro train services will be extended from 5pm to 10pm instead of 5pm to 8pm with a five-minute frequency.
Trains will be operated till midnight, instead of 11pm, from all terminals on these two days.
On January 18, train services will start at 4am, instead of 5am.
