Chennai: Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) has announced power shutdown at Ponniamman Nagar in Ambattur from 9 am to 2 pm for carrying out maintenance work.
Galaxy Road, Geason Housing Colony and Periyar Street are some of the areas where the power supply will be affected.
The power supply will resume before 2 pm if the work is completed in advance, said Tamil Nadu’s power distribution utility. Meanwhile, Tangedco has announced grievances meeting at Egmore, Avadi and Perambur at the respective executive engineer’s office at 11 am. The discom requested the electricity consumers to participate in the meeting for quick redressal of their grievances.
