A 45-year old woman died of Covid-19 in Chennai on Saturday night.
The woman was admitted to the Omandurar Government medical college hospital on April 5 at 7 pm after having complaints of respiratory issues.
The death toll in Tamil Nadu has reached 11. The number of people affected by coronavirus is 969 of which 881 people have travel or contact history.
Tamil Nadu’s capital Chennai has the maximum number of Covid-19 cases in the state.
