Christmas: Chennai hotels and restaurants come up with special menus – Times of India

CHENNAI: With Christmas round the corner, it’s not just families who are planning get-together. The hospitality industry is also gearing up to spread some festive cheer, while keeping safety protocols in mind.
Many hotels and restaurants in Chennai are coming up with special hampers and menus for Christmas. Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road is coming up with a global cuisine menu with live stations and roast turkey at its restaurant Food Exchange. “It will be available for dinner on December 24 and lunch on December 25,” general manager Supreet Roy.
ITC Grand Chola will have a Christmas Market from December 24 to 26 at the Madras Pavilion. “We will have live music, a kids’ corner, and a multi cuisine buffet,” says Abhimanyu Arora, F&B manager, ITC Grand Chola, adding that gift hampers with Christmas specialties such as yuletide cake and gingerbread house will also be available.
Radisson Resort Temple Bay will offer a dinner buffet at the Water’s edge with Santa, and a specially curated menu at the Wharf 2.0 with traditional Christmas delicacies from Europe on Christmas Eve. “We will also have a special breakfast and brunch,” says Vikram Cotah, CEO, GRT Hotels & Resorts. “At Grand Chennai by GRT Hotels, we have festive hampers from December 10 to 31 as well as a global buffet with live band and table top magician on December 24 and 25.”
