CHENNAI: The Greater Chennai Corporation on Thursday sealed Albert Theatre in Egmore for not paying property and entertainment taxes.
Albert Theatre, which is one of the very popular theatres in Chennai, had property tax arrears of Rs 51,27,252, the corporation said.
The theatre also did not pay entertainment tax with arrears of Rs 14 lakh.
