Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin to hold collectors, SPs meet soon – Times of India

CHENNAI: Chief minister M K Stalin is likely to hold his first annual conference with the district collectors and superintendents of police in Chennai shortly, sources said.
The chief minister has held meetings with the collectors through video conference on Covid-19 management. Government sources said the proposed meeting was expected to take place by November and heads of the departments had been asked to come up with an agenda for the session that may last two days.
“The secretaries of the departments have been intimated but the date has not been finalised yet. The priorities of the new government will be discussed and implementation of the flagship programmes, and various welfare measures will be speeded up, besides law and order with the police,” said a source. Former chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami held a conference with the district collectors in 2019 in Chennai, and later held meetings with the administrative heads in the district headquarters amid Covid pandemic last year.
