TTD to construct 4 new temples across Tamil Nadu – Times of India

TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams will construct 4 new Lord Venkateswara temples at various towns and cities across the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu soon.
TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy who took part in the swearing in ceremony of the newly appointed local advisory committee of Chennai on Sunday stated that new TTD temples will be built at Chennai, Ulundurpet, Madurai and Pondicherry.
Speaking to reporters, YV Subba Reddy said the temple body will be completing the construction works of Goddess Padmavathi Ammavari temple at T Nagar and the temple will be ready for inauguration by October this year.
TTD is also constructing a replica temple at Jammu in an extent of 66 acres.
Chennai LAC President and special invitee to the TTD trust board J Sekhar Reddy said the temple body is in consultation with the Tamil Nadu state government for finalizing the site for the construction of a replica temple of Lord Venkateswara at Chennai by the end of this year.
