CHENNAI: Former DMK minister Parithi Ilamvazuthi’s son Parithi Ilamsuruthi has won in ward number 99 in Chennai Corporation.
Ilamparuthi, who contested on behalf of the ruling party, won the urban local body polls by a vote margin of roughly 4,000 votes.
P Sivakami, former IAS official who contested on behalf of the AIADMK, lost the elections.
