CHENNAI: The traffic police have made traffic diversions in T Nagar for extending the South Usman Road flyover to CIT Nagar 1st Main Road. The following traffic changes will be in place from January 28 to September 27.
Vehicles plying on South Usman Road and intending to go to CIT Nagar 3rd Main Road would be diverted via Kannamapet Junction and South West Boag Road.
MTC buses intending to go along South Usman Road from Usman Road flyover will be diverted via Madley Junction-Burkit Road – Mooparappan Street-Link Road-Nandanam Junction.
MTC buses coming from Aranganathan subway and wanting to get on to South Usman Road via Kannamapet junction and intending to go to CIT Nagar 3rd Main Road will be diverted via West CIT Nagar North Street.
Vehicles can take the South Usman Road from Anna Salai CIT 1st Main Road to T Nagar bus terminus, as usual, said a police press release.
The traffic police have asked the members of public to cooperate with them to implement the traffic changes effectively. tnn
