CHENNAI: The city may not get much rain on Saturday as the depression has weakened into a well-marked low pressure and has moved farther away. However, the sky will be cloudy and there may be rain in some areas.
The forecast by the met department said that the sky condition is likely to be generally cloudy. Thunderstorms with light to moderate rain are likely to occur in some areas. This means that the rain will be scattered and will amount to only 5mm to 15 mm per hour.
There is no heavy rain warning for the city for the next five days.
